    How are you different than abacus labs. Also what do you use for your ocr, abby?

    • @semerda
      @semerda 5 лет назад

      You tell me how different this is from abacus. Do they extract ALL the data points in seconds? Do they read handwritten values? Veryfi is 100% machine extraction using proprietary code. No 3rd party tools. As you can see from the video Veryfi extracted EVERYTHING from the receipt inc handwritten pieces in SECONDS. Most expense companies actually use offshore human labor to extract a handful of data points which in my opinion is a dirty way to deceive people. In California a CPA can loose their license for shipping data offshore. The best way to identify those deceptive apps (apart from googling around) is if it takes minutes to extract data then you know it's humans. Machines do extractions in seconds. Even self driving cars react in milliseconds so if you are ever told by a receipt company they handle a lot of receipts and it takes minutes (receipt-bank did once to me), then they are blowing smoke. Having worked in healthcare I value my PII and believe data-privacy should be at the core of all companies handling sensitive data. Unfortunately 90% of the companies dealing with expenses do not share my view but it's only a matter of time for them as consumers become more educated and privacy conscious. Hope this helps.

    Isn't it ironic that the same people who would refuse to have a dollar a month added to their taxes to fund mental health and social systems to take care of destitute, homeless, and desperate street criminals - instead, would rather rent these for $7 / Hr as a "fix" to drive-away this population of needy, unfortunate souls. Thanks to Ronald Reagan administration dismantling these efficiently-run public health institutions, we now spend more mismanaging destitute by pulling law-enforcement resources away from more important tasks, arresting, driving them back to shelters or family, cleaning-up tent towns, etc. Stupid society? That's the U.S. And the heartless, hateful capitalists that would rather spend more doing it this way, than the smarter, more-economical way (than the socialist countries with less capital resources than us)...that's also us. Or should I say U.S...the land of the stupid wealthy. Wow, these people at Knightscope are some of those geniuses that haven't got a clue when it comes to social responsibility, or empathy for your fellow man. I wonder how they police their own employees in the workplace or their off-time?

    The self driving car will save human kind from all our imperfections. We will no longer be subject to all the mistakes humans make, especially when driving. Now if only we could convince the neptrons or venutions to beam down here from Mars to program the dam things to save us from retarded human engineering...... We can't build a regular car that doesn't have some sort of safety recall or defect, and we can't build a computer that doesn't lock up or crash so let's combine the worst of both worlds.....what's wrong with this lazy generation, too many iPhone apps..

      cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/6581377/meeker-2016-ios-android.jpg You are calling people lazy because a single car stopped unnecessarily for 30 whole seconds. With vehicles becoming cabbing machines and property of the companies who issue them, a recall will become an internal event for the companies like updating their computers. Computers are reliable enough that I can say with a great deal of certainty that this comment will be here tomorrow (unless deleted by the uploader) and my money will be in my bank and press the power button on my phone it turns on. The irony is you are so used to the reliability of computers that the smallest error upsets you.

    • @toddbenedict72
      @toddbenedict72 7 лет назад

      +killax1000 actually, you have no idea what I do for a living. it would surprise you the amount of issues automobile manufacturers have building a car without engineering mistakes and oversights in the mechanical portion of a car let alone the programming. every system is prone to faults or what is known as pattern failures. remove the human interface because last people want the car to do the thinking for them and we will have lots more issues. how will the computer know if it has an issue with a steering component or ball joint? or that the brakes are squeaking because one is sticking.....sensors can't detect that. how can it detect there is a problem until catistraufic failure.

    • @killax1000
      @killax1000 7 лет назад

      Catastrophic. I don't need to know the amount of frequency of issues with automobile manufacturing to know that billions of them operate daily. If you have a 5 minute commute to your job, that's 10 minutes a day, 70 a week, 3,640 a year (just over 2.5 days). People already use GPS to do the thinking for their path taking because its quicker than routing yourself on a map. Electric vehicles outperform gas vehicles, removing the need for a bulky engine and drive train, 2 of the most expensive and I'm sure complicated to manufacture components. Just because people won't drive it doesn't mean mechanics won't be maintaining them. You are mistaking your valid concerns for impassible obstacles. If you work in this industry I hope you are out of it or ready to adapt when it shifts because it will and it will be in the next decade.
